Gainsborough State School proudly partners with YMCA Outside School Hours Care (PDF, 1.6MB) to offer our community Outside School Hours Care (PDF, 2.9MB). The service commences at the start of Term 1 on Wednesday 27th January 2021.
Our YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.
YMCA Gainsborough OSHC activities and plans are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit – underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. We blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time Our Place' and Gainsborough State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging and most of all FUN activities for your child whilst in our care.
YMCA Gainsborough OSHC will operate from 6.00am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Vacation care (Holiday Club) will operate from 6.00am – 6.00pm.
